New Membership Scheme Coming Soon!

In our commitment to make things happen for all Deaf and hard of hearing people in West Sussex, we will soon be launching a membership scheme and encouraging membership from Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people throughout the county or from anyone who shares our vision.

Our membership scheme is currently under development, however some of the planned benefits may include:

• Networking opportunities to foster mutual support and educational development through our Deaf Youth Club and Communication Club in addition to our Befriending and Home Visit service.
• Direct access to Volunteer services, Deaf Youth Club, Communication Club, Quarterly Newsletter, Befriending and Home Visits.
• The latest Information and advice regarding the demonstration, supply and maintenance of environmental aids available via our Resource Centres at Haywards Heath and Worthing, the Hearing Aid Clinics run throughout the County as well as through our website.
• Voting rights at our Annual General Meetings.
• Deaf Awareness Training / Communication Training Tactics.
• Access to ‘member only’ areas of the Action for Deafness website to participate in blogs sharing advice and discussing issues and challenges with other members on a regular basis.
• Promotional offers to members on a range of services and products from some of our recommended suppliers.
  

We welcome your suggestions for additional benefits of membership. 

We will be launching Individual Membership, with plans to introduce Organisational Membership at a later date.
