Through her career Katie has gained extensive experience of promotional marketing, working with a variety of industry sectors, developing communication and business development skills. In 2003 Katie became self employed establishing her own business providing product development and marketing communications services.
In July 2008, Katie starting working with Action for Deafness, working for The CEO providing support for the re-launch of the organisation and subsequent marketing activities. This was an exciting time to become involved with Action for Deafness, and Katie very quickly developed a strong loyalty and pride for the organisation.
In her spare time Katie enjoys travel, having lived in Belgium, France, USA and Hong Kong. She also enjoys skilling and is an enthusiastic novice sailor, Katie also has a keen interest in product design.
