The Geemarc AmpliDect 220 is the same as the AmpliDect 230 model, but without the answer phone feature. It is a digital cordless phone offering noticeably better reception than an analogue phone – however, it is not hearing aid compatible and cannot be used with a neckloop. Therefore, it is useful for those who just want a bit of extra volume but we do not recommend this phone for use by hearing aid wearers.
The phone is visually attractive and has volume adjustment and a large, clear display. The standard volume level is fair and there is a built-in amplifier that is switchable – making it suitable for multiple users – and makes the sound slightly louder.
