The Geemarc AmpliDect 250 is a digital cordless phone offering noticeably better reception than an analogue phone - now supplied with a free monaural inductive earhook handsfree kit .
When combined with a handfree inductive earhook this telephone can be regarded as a hearing aid compatible DECT telephone.
When your telephone rings, the Geemarc Clearview Caller ID lets you see who is calling without picking up the telephone*. So, if you don't recognise the number you can choose not to answer the call, something which is particularly good for those who do not find it easy to use the telephone.
The clearview will also log up to 50 answered or missed calls. By adding names to numbers in the Clearview memory (50 max) the name of the caller will also be displayed - especially nice for those of us with a less than perfect human memory.
The Doro HearPlus 317 has very loud receiver levels and is very straightforward to use.
In our view the Doro HearEasy 317c has very good volume and sound quality. It is very carefully designed to be robust yet easy and comfortable to use, especially for those with limited dexterity, strength and vision.
The BT Converse range of telephones are all feature rich and have features intended for the business user.
The BT Converse 2200 telephone has low energy consumption so no additional batteries or power supply unit required. It is PABX compatible and is wall mountable. It has a headset port and hands-free option.
In our view the Converse range is more appropriate for small businesses than the domestic market.
Picture this - a telephone with a brilliant but simple solution for children or older people who struggle to remember telephone numbers.
Geemarc’s PhotoPHONE 100 comes with 8 dedicated big speed dial buttons which can feature pictures or icons. This allows the user to simply press the button, with a photo of the appropriate person and it instantly dials their number.
The Geemarc PhotoPHONE 100 is amplified and has an effective tone control. In addition to the 8 photo memory buttons, it has 3 standard memory buttons and a bright visual ring indicator.
The CL1400 has features very similar to a CL400 but without the boost button and with a more conventional look without the large buttons.
