Action for Deafness

British Sign language is a recognised language in its own right. As the first language for many members of the deaf community, it is an important communication tool. Sign language skills and qualifications are becoming increasingly sought after in the work place.

Why not try an introductory non-examination course in British Sign Language? Courses include finger spelling, some basic signing skills and deaf awareness.

British Sign Language examination courses lead to qualifications offered by Signiture (formerly CACDP). They are three-term courses and are offered at level 1, with progression opportunities to level 2.
