Action for Deafness is a Charitable Company Limited by Guarantee. The organisation was founded, as a charity, in 1994 by deaf people and for deaf people in West Sussex.
Action for Deafness provides advice, support, information and services to enable Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing and deafblind people to lead independent lives.
The organisation is core funded by West Sussex County Council and works in partnership with many other local and national organisations including NHS West Sussex with which it has a contract to provide audiology services for the over 50s in West Sussex.
We are continually developing and strengthening our services and this website is just one way of making our services accessible to all.
